Everyone, when they survey the places they have been in their lives and reflect on the experiences they have had there, will choose one place above all others where they like to be--such a place is Nova Scotia.
The sea beats with icy fingers against the rocky shore--small creeks flow out of the dark green forested hills, past cultivated fields--through graceful spruces, the glimmering white of the birches, the trembling silver of the aspen--beyond there, like clouds, soar the tops of the sentinel pines --a haunting panorama.
Solitude, perfect peace, constant change--all of this we try to capture in our artwork. by Freda Nauss
